Mexico Vacation Trip FAQ’s

Pre-Arrival Questions

What is the Climate Like?

In a nutshell: the Mexican climate means you won’t need to pack a suitcase full of woolly jumpers! The climate in Mexico is good pretty much all year round, with temperatures that don’t vary too much.

he Mexico climate around the Yucatan peninsula has an average daily temperature of around 79-86 degrees. In the evenings it cools down to a milder 68 degrees, though from May to September temperatures remain generally higher. There’s an occasional tropical shower but they’re usually short and shouldn’t hamper your trip much.

It’s a big country and the Mexico climate varies with the different regions of course: in the higher inland regions it can get quite chilly, particularly in the evenings. From mid August – September it’s the hurricane season in the Caribbean, so you should be aware of potential disruptions in the Cancun area at that time of year.
